Roll-formed GI and colour-coated PPGI roofing and cladding sheets in trapezoidal, corrugated and sinusoidal profiles.
Product overview
Galvanized profile sheet is roll-formed GI or PPGI steel in a corrugated, trapezoidal or sinusoidal profile, used as single-skin roofing and wall cladding on sheds, warehouses, boundary walls and site hoarding.
Profiling turns thin coated steel into a stiff, self-draining sheet. The rib height and pitch set the span between purlins, the sheet width sets the cover per piece, and the coating sets the finish: plain galvanized for utility work or PPGI for colour and UV resistance.
OGB supplies profile sheets cut to length for roofs, side cladding, sheds, canopies and fencing. Profile, gauge, coating and colour are confirmed per enquiry.
Characteristics
Trapezoidal for roofs and spans, corrugated for walls and fencing, sinusoidal for traditional sheds.
Plain zinc for utility use or RAL-coloured PPGI for finished buildings.
Single lengths up to 12 m avoid end laps on most roofs.

Questions
Spacing depends on rib height, gauge and wind load. As a guide, 0.5 mm trapezoidal sheet is commonly fixed to purlins at 1.2 m to 1.5 m centres on roofs; walls can go further. The supplier’s load table and the wind design govern.
With self-drilling screws fitted with EPDM-bonded washers, driven through the rib crown on roofs or the valley on walls, into steel purlins or girts. Side laps are stitched with short screws and sealed on low-pitch roofs.
Trapezoidal sheets with sealed laps are commonly laid at 5° and above; corrugated sheets usually need 10° or more because of their shallower ribs. Longer single-length sheets allow lower pitches by avoiding end laps.
