What is a material list?

A material list (also called a material schedule or bill of quantities) is a simple list of every item a project needs: what it is, its size and how many. Suppliers use it to prepare an accurate quotation.

Is my list saved?

Yes. The list is saved automatically in your own browser on this device, so it is still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to OGB until you press "Send to OGB for a quote".

Can I share the list with my team?

Yes. Download it as a spreadsheet file (CSV opens in Excel and Google Sheets), print it, or save it as a PDF from the print window.

What if I do not know the exact size?

Write what you know, for example "for a 20 m × 30 m shed" or "2 m high fence". OGB will suggest suitable sizes in the quotation.
