What is a RAL colour code?
RAL is a European colour system used for paints and coated steel. Each colour has a four-digit number, such as RAL 9002 (grey white). Quoting the RAL number makes sure the supplier, the painter and the site all mean the same colour.
Which roof colour is best for the UAE heat?
Light colours such as RAL 9002, 9010 and 1015 reflect more sunlight than dark colours, so the sheet and the space under it stay cooler. That is why most UAE warehouses use white, off-white or beige roofs.
Is the colour on my screen exact?
No. Screens show colours differently, so the swatches here are a close guide only. Before a large order, ask OGB for a physical colour sample or chart.
Can I order a RAL colour that is not shown here?
This tool shows common colours for coated sheets and panels. Other RAL colours may be possible depending on the product and quantity. Write the RAL number in your quote request and OGB will confirm.
Can the inside and outside of a panel be different colours?
Yes. Sandwich panels have two steel skins, so the outside can match your building while the inside is white or light grey. Cold rooms are usually white inside so that cleanliness is easy to see.
