Off-white PPGI corrugated hoarding on galvanized pipe frames, as a continuous run or as movable 2 × 2 m block-mounted panels.
Product overview
PPGI corrugated fence (also called Shinko fence or temporary hoarding panels) is a solid site boundary built from pre-painted galvanized corrugated sheets fixed to galvanized pipe frames. The continuous type runs sheet-to-sheet on pipes at 2.5 m centres; the discontinuous type uses 2 m × 2 m framed panels standing on concrete blocks so they can be moved.
Corrugated steel hoarding is the standard solid perimeter on UAE construction sites. Pre-painted galvanized sheet, usually RAL 9002 off-white, is fixed between top and bottom GI channels on a frame of 48.3 mm galvanized pipes, with diagonal back-stays to concrete blocks or ground anchors. It blocks view and dust, carries signage, and is reused across projects.
OGB supplies both configurations: continuous fence for long boundaries, where sheets overlap on a shared pipe frame, and discontinuous panels, where each 2 m × 2 m frame stands on its own precast blocks for sites that need access changes or relocation. Sheets, pipes, channels, couplers, blocks and braces are quoted together.
Characteristics
Continuous for long runs; discontinuous 2 × 2 m panels on blocks where flexibility matters.
0.40 – 0.90 mm pre-painted galvanized sheet in RAL 9002 or other colours.
Pipe-and-coupler frames dismantle and move to the next site.
System anatomy

Trapezoidal 35/200 or 45/250 profile, 0.40 – 0.90 mm, RAL 9002 off-white; the visible face of the fence
Vertical GI pipe
Ø48.3 mm galvanized ERW pipe, 1.5 – 3.68 mm wall, at 2.5 m centres (continuous) or at each panel edge (discontinuous)
Top and bottom GI channel
C or U channel 40 × 40 × 40 or 50 × 50 × 50 mm, 1.0 – 2.0 mm, holding the sheet edges
Horizontal pipe rails
Ø48.3 mm pipes fixed with couplers to stiffen the sheet run
Scaffold and C couplers
Pressed or drop-forged galvanized couplers (≥3 mm) with M12 bolts joining pipes and channels
Diagonal back-stay
Ø48.3 mm brace from the top rail down to a concrete block or ground anchor, one per panel or per 2 – 3 panels

Questions
Shinko fence is the local trade name for continuous corrugated steel hoarding: pre-painted galvanized sheets fixed between GI channels on a pipe frame around a construction site. The name comes from an early supplier and is now used generically in the UAE.
0.40 mm to 0.50 mm PPGI is common for short-term hoarding, while 0.60 mm to 0.90 mm is used on long runs, exposed sites and rental stock that is reused many times.
Discontinuous panels stand in holes in precast concrete blocks with a diagonal back-stay bolted to a rear block. Continuous fence either uses the same blocks or has its posts anchored or concreted into the ground on long-term projects. No excavation is needed with the block method.
Off-white RAL 9002 is the most common, with beige RAL 1001 and light blue RAL 5012 also used. Municipality or master-developer hoarding guidelines may specify the colour and signage for a given site.
Both are solid hoardings on a galvanized pipe frame. PPGI fence uses painted steel sheet and is the heavier-duty, lower-cost option; PVC Eco Fence uses uPVC panels that never rust or need repainting and give a cleaner white finish on premium sites.
