Which roofing sheet is best for a warehouse in the UAE?
Most warehouses use 0.5 mm to 0.7 mm PPGI trapezoidal sheet in a light colour on Z purlins at 1.2 m to 1.8 m centres. Insulated sandwich panels are used where the building is air-conditioned.
What is the difference between galvanized and alu-zinc sheets?
Galvanized sheet is coated with zinc. Alu-zinc sheet is coated with a 55 % aluminium-zinc alloy that corrodes more slowly in most atmospheres and reflects more heat. Galvanized is preferred where sheets are welded or cut heavily; alu-zinc where bare exterior life matters.
Do you supply purlins with the sheets?
Yes. Z and C purlins are quoted with the sheets so the roof arrives as one matched package.
