Galvanized 41 × 41 and 41 × 21 slotted and plain strut channels with spring nuts, brackets and fittings.
Product overview
Strut channel (also called Unistrut-type or slotted channel) is a lipped, cold-formed steel channel, usually 41 × 41 mm or 41 × 21 mm, with or without slots, used with spring nuts and brackets to build adjustable supports for pipes, cable trays, ducts and equipment without welding.
The inward lips of a strut channel hold a spring nut anywhere along its length, so brackets, clamps and threaded rod can be bolted on and repositioned without drilling. Slotted channel adds pre-punched slots for through-bolting; plain channel is used where a continuous face is needed.
OGB supplies strut channels in pre-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated finishes, with the spring nuts, brackets, pipe clamps and threaded rod that complete the support system.
Characteristics
Spring nuts lock anywhere along the channel for adjustable, reusable supports.
Industry-standard profile compatible with common fittings and clamps.
Pre-galvanized for indoors, hot-dip galvanized for exterior and plant rooms.

Questions
Both have the lipped opening for spring nuts. Slotted channel also has punched slots along the back, so it can be through-bolted to walls, ceilings or other channels without drilling. Plain channel is stiffer and used where the solid back is bolted via fittings.
Capacity depends on the gauge, the span and the loading pattern, and is published in the manufacturer’s tables; a 2.5 mm 41 × 41 channel on a 1 m span carries several hundred kilograms in uniform load. Use the tables for design and confirm the gauge with your enquiry.
